Jake's first hair cut

We finally cut all the baby curls off and Jake looks so much older now. It is very interesting giving a one year old a hair cut. He had a lollypop in each hand (not something I would normally give him, but desperate times...)and nine people trying to keep him entertained. Not something I had to worry about so young with Hannah, but it's done now and he looks adorable. Whew!

Jake's 1st Birthday

Jake is one already, where does the time go? He had a fun Birthday Party with all his family and friends. We are so blessed to have so many people that love and care about our children. The most memorable part of the party was the scary little cake. He cried everytime we showed him his cake and we have no idea why, but it sure was funny and cute. So much for making a mess with it! The first year of Jakes life has been a really good one. He is the perfect addition to our family and we look forward to the years to come. He is truly a blessing and joy to us.

Sea World

This past week was Spring Break, so Jeremy took a few days off work and on one of the days we took the kids to Sea World. We all had a great time. Hannah enjoyed seeing all the animals, shows and riding all the rides in Shamu's Happy Harbor. Jake was content and happy whatever we were doing, as usual. They both really enjoyed playing in the water fountains, it was one of the highlights of the day. It was a fun and exhausting day for mommy and daddy, and full of happy memories. The rest of the week was pretty laid back, spending time with friends and family.

Happy Easter

Here are a few pics from our easter. Easter was double the fun this year with two kids. Hannah had a great time hunting eggs with some of her cousins and Jake enjoyed eating the eggs.
